Elegant Angel is proudly releasing COMPULSION, its first full-length feature film, written and directed by Axel Braun.  This is the most ambitious project ever for Elegant Angel, and the first shot on film in the
company's history.  With 10 scenes, over 2 hours of running time, great acting, a solid script, amazing camerawork and impeccable editing, COMPULSION is the crown jewel of Axel Braun's illustrious career.

Axel's father, legendary Porn-pioneer Lasse Braun, is both excited and confident in his son's directorial ability. "Nowadays shooting on film is really a big gamble," Lasse says, adding with a grin, "but after all, Axel learned from the best..."

"It had to be film," says Axel, "This is an intense story that required a certain look and video was simply not an option."

With the biggest budget in the company's history, COMPULSION tells the story of a crime-lord father who is forced to confront his own demons, when the son whom he adores betrays him with his own wife.  In his first acting role, Elegant Angel's owner, and
 industry legend Patrick Collins, takes on the role of Big Charlie, the head of a Los Angeles-based crime syndicate.  "I think Axel took a pretty big chance using me as the main character," says Collins, "but I do have some life experience that helped me, so...at least I didn't have to spend a lot of time researching!"

Sizzling hot British star Ashley Long play's Charlie's young wife, with promising newcomer Kurt Lockwood rounding out the cast as Charlie's prodigal son.

"Casting the lead was extremely difficult," says Axel, "Then I met Ashley. She's the perfect blend of glamour girl and slut puppy.  She's classy, yet loves to get down and filthy.  Her sexual performances are compelling for one simple reason: she truly loves sex.  And this character gives her the opportunity to showcase her acting talents, which are natural and intuitive.  Kurt, whom I had never met, asked to read for the role.  He delivered such an intense performance that it literally made my eyes water.  At that point I simply couldn't imagine casting someone else."

But the biggest casting surprise, perhaps, comes from Porn-Superstar Belladonna.  The reigning anal-queen challenges herself with something she has never done in a porn movie: singing!  That's right, although Belladonna doesn't appear as a performer in the movie, she sings the catchy title song "I'm Not Afraid."

"I had written the song for the movie," Axel explains, "and I was in the studio laying down the music when Bella popped in to say hi.  She loved the tune and started singing it, and everyone was blown away!  There and then I knew she HAD to record the song!  Believe me, a lot of people will be surprised..."

Shot all over Los Angeles in early July, COMPULSION is the kind of massive production that rarely happens in the adult industry, a genuine event, and the media just went crazy over it.  "In a sense, you have to do a show like this one on film because the format reinvigorates everyone involved," explains Braun, "It's very different, and because of that, it inspires drive and passion from the people working on it."

"This show is all about passion, and Axel has passion to spare," adds Collins, "on top of it, the added difficulty of shooting on film gave everyone the drive to excel.  No one could coast or work on autopilot for this movie.  Some of the performers had never worked on a project of this scope, and they soon realized that it wasn't just a different ballpark, but an entirely different game.  The good side is that Axel has tremendous film experience.  He really wanted to raise the bar and the project is doing just that."

Seven new members – some of the most prominent names in the adult Internet industry – have been installed on the board of directors of the Internet Freedom Association, the group has announced. 

The new members are Tammy (BeckaLynn) Robinson of BeckaLynn.com, Connor Young of The Adult Webmaster, Bob (Ynot Bob) Rice of YNOTMasters.com, Ron (Plugger) Dobley of onetwistedpair.com, Britni (Bisexual Britni) Taylor of BisexualBritni.com, Cynthia (Cyndalie) Fanshaw of PSWBilling.com, and Jeff Miller of Sunup Media.

The IFA operated through the end of August with a board of volunteer directors until the group could name a formal board chosen from its membership, the group said when announcing the new formal board membership.

“I am pleased with the quality and enthusiasm of the new board members,” said IFA founder and general counsel Lawrence G. Walters, the noted First Amendment and adult industry attorney. “We intend to take a leading role in shaping the outcome of many important issues facing adult Webmasters, and continuing in our position as a media liaison for the adult Internet industry.”

Fanshaw said the IFA wants primarily to keep members informed about legal changes affecting the adult Internet. "When we help Webmasters stay in compliance with the law," she said, "we level the playing field and help keep the industry protected and represented in the media, in meetings, and in court rooms where necessary. By providing good information we hope to increase our number of members making the IFA stronger and more able to step in when needed."
