Take On This Film:
I think I'm about to break some type of porn bylaw by saying I don't
think this series is all that. I mean it's got great, great sex scenes,
but all the noise about the plot and camera work and acting and all
that, well, it's way overrated.
Ninn, who says he's
a former N.Y. ad agency worker who made six figures a year, creates a
confusing storyline about a small-town gas station employee, Gerry Pike,
who goes to the big city and gets seduced into the world of modeling.
A narrator tells the
story and the dialogue isn't going to make anyone forget, say,
Schindler's List. Example? "If you saw me watching you, would you
open your legs for me? Would you?"
There's all the
existentialist dialogue and a very serious attempt to be greater than
your average porn, but with tons of great stars and tons of well-shot
sex scenes, betwixt all of this high-brow "acting," Sex should
find its way into your collection.
Part I begins with
Pike worrying that he's not good enough for Sunset, his longtime love.
They make love in a hot scene in the desert. They make love against his
car with wind machines blowing their hair and her dress like an MTV
video. It's all very Playboy. But with penetration.
Pike lines up some
nice doggy-style penetration on his true love, who hasn't enough ass to
make it super exciting, but she does a nice mish and takes a good facial
after an aggressive blowjob.
Pike comes to the
city and is driving a cab. In his backseat are Tyff and a lover. They
have loud sex in the back of the moving cab with Tyff's fake tits
bouncing around and her tight ass in the air. As she exits, she slips
Pike her phone number.
Turns out Tyff works
for a modeling industry mogul, Jon Dough, and Dough plans to make Pike,
who has real-life model looks (think a certain one-named blond male
star) and a thick pipe.
To work for Jon,
apparently you must kneel before him and blow him off. Pike does,
without much hesistation, as if under a spell. Luckily we don't see any
of this. It's just assumed, I suppose, what Pike must do.
The plot jumps
around a lot and before you know it, without any development, Pike is a
major star and he finds out his girlfriend has been raped and has
changed from another model.
He's ravaged by the
thought. He let her go...to this?
Meanwhile, (SUBPLOT
HERE) Chasey "cute ass" Lain and Tyff visit Dough. Chasey does
the kneel before Jon thing to become a model and this time she blows
him, we see it, then she stands in front of his desk, stripping down to
this leather teddy that looks so tasty on this queen that you'll want to
jump through the TV set to grab her.
Her big tits are
hanging out, her perfect legs and ass are being explored by Dough, and
before you know it, he's banging this cutie from behind, bringing moans
of joy through your stereo speakers (or was that you making them on the
OTHER side of the remote?).
Move to Pike again.
He's all of a sudden become a heavy drinker. Success is getting to him.
He's missing morning calls for his movie shoot. Did they tell you he was
a movie star, too? Nah.
Oh well. Pike dreams
of Sunset throwing TVs at him and the TVs all become beautiful women
that have a dildo-banging lesbian experience in front of him and
eventually allow him to join in. Give Ninn this, he knows how to shoot
porn. He switches angles, melds shots, shoots in different lighting,
blurring scenes intentionally.
Through his lens,
porn becomes hot again, fresh. He can make tired stars look good. Make
the same old missionary seem like something you haven't seen.
In another girl-girl
scene, Asia bangs a partner with a dildo and shows, even pre-tit job,
she was a true cutie and a true bang queen.
But back to our
plot. Pike eventually decides he wants out. After he bangs the stew out
of Tyff. She vows revenge, which she gets, kind of, in part 2.
But not before Pike
bangs Debi Diamond like a hammer does a nail and Sunset puts in a strong
lesbian performance and later fucks Dough in front of Tyff, who
masturbates herself while watching.
Of the two movies
included here, Part 2 is much more direct porn, almost as if Ninn had
decided he needed to get more back to what X is about.
Listen, I give the
guy a gold star for trying, but this was too ambitious a project and
needed a rewrite pretty badly. With his talent for shooting sex, if he
gets hold of a script his talent can handle, Ninn really will make
movies worthy of all the five-star awards that were thrown at this one.
