TAKE
Just before he
wrote this ground-breaking porn epic, director Brad Armstrong had been
watching the movie Legend. He was also thinking about Labyrinth and The
Neverending Story.
With these fantasy
films in mind, he created Dreamquest, a story of a woman who loses her
faith in relationships only to find her faith and her passion renewed in a
quest to save mankind's ability to fantasize.
To truly appreciate
this movie, which lands with a $250,000 budget (enormous by porn
standards), you'll have to suspend your beliefs a bit and forgive some of
the porn actors for their bad acting and some big holes in the script. But
credit Armstrong and Co. for developing a script and a plot that will hold
your interest.
This is Jameson's 25th
film for Wicked and the rumors are this may be her coup de grace with the
company. If so, it's a fine way to exit. Jameson delivers her lines
well and is nearly believable as an innocent, nearly virginal girl who happens to
have the best altered boobs in the world (now that Pam Anderson has gone
au natural) and just a killer body overall.
Wearing a mix of
futuristic outfits that hark back to olden days, Jameson looks
jump-through-your-TV gorgeous on almost all scenes and performs in four
incredibly hot scenes, including three lesbian romps. She does anal,
masturbation, double penetration (girls fingers and dildoes, then her
fingers).
The film, very
Matrix-like, introduces us to Jameson and her sex-crazy boyfriend. After a
date to a drive-in, Jameson rebuffs his advances, tiring of a sex-only
relationship.
"Does it always
have to be about sex," she asks him. Later, alone with her dog, Jenna
wonders if romance and love are going the way of the dinosaur. Just then,
two fairies appear: Felicia and Stephanie Swift. You'll have to forgive
some of the bad special effects here (the budget wasn't that great). They
appear in a bath of what looks like Christmas lights.
Named Spring and
Autumn, they tell Jameson that evil Vladimir (Herschel Savage in
devil-like makeup) has stolen fantasy from their world. And soon, it will
disappear from her world, too. They explain that Jameson must travel to
this alternate universe and get fantasy back from Vladimir. She's the
chosen one (as in Neo and Morpheus), though we're never told why she is.
Maybe it's the tits.
Man, does Jenna have a rack. After the fairies leave, Jenna steps into a
mirror and lands in the Other World, at the feet of a sweet-looking Asia
Carrera, who plays with a tarantula and calls herself Arachna, the spider
woman. Asia is to begin Jenna's training to take back fantasy.
Apparently to get it
back, Jenna must become a master of the sexual arts. Asia begins to slowly
pull down Jenna' s tight jeans and blue turtleneck. This is done
sensually, slowly, teasing the viewer every second. Finally the jeans are
off and sweet Asia is licking Jenna's tight butt. The camera pans and we
realize there's a man who is stuck in Asia's webbing.
He breaks free just in
time to taste Asia's twat, while the superstar licks Jenna's sweet pussy.
It's the pacing, though, that makes the scene so hot. Armstrong, the
director, gives us constant shots of Jenna masturbating watching the
action as the couple begin fucking each other. Jenna slips her fingers in
and out and plays with her tits, which I must say never looked better on
film.
Jenna eats Asia as
Asia gets it doggy style and later gets it in the face.
What a first sex
scene.
Licking the cum off
the guy's dick, Asia sends Jenna on to complete her training, with Otto
(Randy West). Otto tells her, again, of how she must find Vladimir (who's
constantly seen "watching" Jenna on her quest, waiting for her).
Funny, but about this time, you'll begin to notice that everyone in this
fantasy world speaks in rhymes, some stupid some funny.
But for an X-rated
film, this is a welcome treat and change of pace.
And being an adult
film, the sex continues. I won't try to explain why West is stuck behind a
door with Johnni Black and Amber Michaels after Jameson blows out candles
the girls carry to open it and continue her journey. I will tell you that
the three-way is solid work by all concerned, especially the double BJ
that West is so lucky to be on the business end of.
Moving back to Jenna,
she has somehow found a lantern in the forest as she continues her journey
(how she knows which way to go.....well, this is fantasy, man). Vladimir
continues to watch all this, even as he gets a blow job to die for from
his assistant and gives her a intense doggy style pounding as a result.
Back in the forest,
Swift and Felecia save Jenna from a troll and a three-way lesbian romp
ensues. It's the hottest scene of the movie, with these three superstars
invading and probing each other something fierce. Each girl is spread on a
table and probed with dildoes and fingers. The highlight is Jenna, tits
being worked over, being fucked by Felecia's finger in her ass and pussy.
Swift also uses her
tongue as a clitoral battering ram on Jenna before Jenna tastes Felecia's
sweet treats and Swift gives Jenna the anal fingering of the film. Swift
is so hot.
Continuing on her
journey, Jenna gets a special key from a troll and a three-finger doggy
fuck and a dong fuck from Alexa that will have you leaning on your seat.
Finally she reaches Vladimir and rebukes his offer for marriage in return
for releasing fantasy. He locks her up for her insolence and disguises
himself as her boyfriend (Devin Wolf) and "frees" her.
The couple doesn't
immediately leave the cell. Oh no. Wolf spreads Jenna's legs wide and
tastes her. She rams herself down hard on her manhood. He fires away doggy
and bangs her asshole and delivers an open mouth facial. This is nasty and
as hot as Jenna has gotten in some time.
But post-cum, Vladimir
reveals himself. He was disguised. Jenna is disgusted and still refuses to
marry him.
The ending doesn't
quite make sense and I won't ruin the movie for you, but again, for an
X-rated film, Armstrong has himself an achievement. He's coaxed a solid
performance from Jameson, which should win an AVN award and filmed hot sex
scenes that should ensure this film will become an instant classic..
