Luke: "Everybody's talking about you. Some have compared you with John Holmes."

Lex: "My career is going good. I'm in association with some strong companies. They give me the chance to do well on a high level. This CES, I will have been in the business two years. I'll have done about 450 videos, which is probably the most [for a man's first two years] in the last ten, fifteen years."

Luke: "Do you ever have time to do civilian girls?"

Lex: "This is just a job for me. In my personal life, I would rather be with just one girl... I work on having solid relationships away from the camera. But it's tough because of what we do. This is sex for pay. It's time your moralistic type of a job but it pays well."

Luke: "Have you been able to find a woman willing to put up with that?"

Lex: "Within the business, it is very easy for me to develop relationships. But outside it is very tough. Because once they find out that you fuck for a living, everything goes out the door. You keep your eyes open and you realize that you're making a career choice that has some sacrifices."

Luke: "Do you get recognized a lot in public?"

Lex: "Not yet, but with all the cable stuff I've done about to come out... But most of the companies I work for are super hardcore and most of their stuff is not on the cable markets yet... I haven't reached the cable market yet because there are not a lot of roles being offered to black men on the feature circuit. I do a lot of gonzo... I'm probably one of the better actors in the whole business but nobody will ever see that because I don't get parts with feature roles.

"It's much like the rest of America. If the high-end features have a black guy in a role, he's usually coming just to fuck. There's not going to be dialogue for him and he's just going to be stereotyped. I can carry dialogue. I did a series for Vivid Raw which is dialogue heavy... But these roles aren't really coming out from Vivid, VCA, Wicked, Sin City, and the companies that put out the big features. They're missing out on the best sex they could have in their feature movies."

Luke: "Do you have any acting training or did you pick it up on the job?"

Lex: "No, no, no... I've been doing some mainstream roles. I've been on HBO, Showtime and mainstream TV regularly. I've done Wayne Brothers [and Lex listed shows I've never heard of. I don't watch TV]. I had a documentary on MTV and HBO. I've been around. I've modelled mainstream in New York..."

Luke: "Your porno work is going to come out one day."

Lex: "I look forward to it. As long as everybody enjoys what they saw, that's the bottom line. So I did porn. Did you enjoy it? As long as they enjoy watching me...

"I represent the hardcore. My main companies are Annabolic and Diabolic. It's the hardest hardcore out there. It's the best sex available. They only use the top guys so every scene is guaranteed to be rocket hard. The girls have to rise to the level of the male performer so everything is hot."

Luke: "Don't you rip girls up with that schlong of yours?"

Luke once saw Lex do French blonde Dolly Golden up the anus until blood rolled down her leg. Dolly said that she frequently bleeds during anal sex.

Lex: "No. Producers let the girls know if they have not worked with me before, how I perform... I don't like to change my style. I'm lucky that people will pair me with girls who say, 'I like that.' No, I don't hurt anybody and at no point do I ever go past what the girl wants me to do. I'm always asking her, 'Hey, is that ok?' You don't see that on film."

Luke: "Do you feel a power over women?"

Lex: "No, my thing is that I want to make the best sex on video possible so I never look to abuse the woman. I think it is a team effort. You are there to make good films. It is not a power trip for me. Certain women turn me on in certain ways and I'll perform more aggressively...but she's the one they're buying the tape for... So my thing is to make her look as great as I possibly can. I try to make stuff that I want to jerk off to."

Luke: "Would you have a problem playing a rapist in a hardcore film?"

Lex: "I've done several rapist scenes, simulated obviously for a couple of Japanese based companies. It shows that a lot of acting happens in these things... If you look at a rape scene, everything is acting and nobody is getting hurt..."
