New age film fails to deliver good hard core scenes with high brow approach

Shot like a modern MTV music video with fast cuts and quick switches between color and black and white, Dreams is probably going to be seen in some hotel room on a cable PPV.

It's hardcore sex that safe for the masses with pretty girls showing off their bodies, Playboy style, in a collection of mostly lesbian scenes that is sure to not offend anyone. Call it safe porn.

Friday and Ashley Fires lick each other over a white sheet covered bed with red roses all across it like some scene from a bad Richard Gere movie. New age music -- provided by a group called Beat 7 -- plays above it all as the girls tongue kiss and generally do a not so impressive rendition of lesbian love making. Some toys come up and things heat up, but in this setting with the moans intentionally taped to echo and mix into the backing music, well, it's not going to work for the raincoat crowd, even with some anal bead work thrown in near the scene.

Next up we get a tame three-way with the sex just a bit too sanitized for my liking. Cythia Pendragon and Angelica Sinn look hot enough, but there are too many cuts to really follow the 2 girls on one guy action too well.

But even in this setting the steaming hot Alicia Rhodes nearly saves the film, with a two-handed, ass-up masturbation session that rose above the limitations of the movie, shot on digital cameras that were stunningly clear. Her masturbatory interlude led to a pretty satisfying three-way that nearly had me changing my mind about this film, as did the stunning Sinnamon-Courtney Devine scene that ended it.

Sinnamon hasn't done much since she went pro-condom but her body is so well perserved and her ass is nonpareil, and we get wonderful shots of it as she frigs and wiggles inside one of the nicest looking showers I've seen in some time. After another Playboy TV-at-3:30-in-the-afternoon masturbation jobs, Courtney Devine joins Sinn for a lick and stick session that probably would've been a lot hotter in the gonzo setting. I think the hi-brow approach the producers wanted in this film, while worth commending for effort, just doesn't work well enough. It was too limiting. But it will sell on cable TV.
